Week 15

Hello Families! This week we talked about Thanksgiving again! You kids now have their very own Turkey placemat and have brought a dish to share to a celebration! I think they are all ready to go and celebrate the holiday with family! Next week we will begin talking about Christmas!! I LOVE this time of year and I can't wait to start learning about it! We will start the month by talking about Christmas around the world! If you happen to have personal experience with Christmas in Mexico, Hanukkah Kwanza, or Sinterklaus, I'd love to hear about it! Please email me about it at some point! THINGS TO KNOW: Next week we will not be able to go to the library, because of the Scholastic book fair. You may still bring in your library books and I will return them for you! We won't be visiting the book fair, but if you would like to stop in with your child after class on your way out, you're more than welcome to! Hello Families! Another fun week in the books! This week we talked about Thanksgiving! This included what we're thankful for. We gave each student a leaf and asked them what they were thankful for, then let them put it on our "Thankful Tree." Next week will be our Thanksgiving Celebration week! Please remember to bring your child's snack for our Friendship Snack ! (This can be anything dry! From chips to crackers to chocolate chips to grapes!) It will be a random assortment, but it will give them kids a chance to work together, share, and practice the manners we have been working on! Things to Know: Short Week and Early Dismissal: Next week is a short week due to Thanksgiving! Wednesday friends our pick-up time will be right after chapel (it should be 11, but sometimes it goes a couple minutes over.) My Thursday friends, there is no class on Thursday!
