Week 5
Hello Families!
What a fun week! We talked a lot about making good choices at school and about making friends! Which is why your student should have come home with a book of their friends at school. If you didn't see one come home, let me know and we will make sure you get one!
We read the book Little Blue, Little Yellow and learned about how yellow and blue make green. We also did a project where each student found a friend. One friend painted their hand yellow, and the other friend painted their hand blue, then we high-fived each other and made green hand prints on paper! They are hanging up in the hall, make sure to find your student's print and ask them about their new friend!
Next week we are going to do a little review of everything we've learned about so far! We're reviewing the creation story, our letters A and B, and our school rules! We also have the Walk-a-Thon on Monday and Thursday! It will be so much fun to hang out with the other preschool classes and to try something new!
For any of my friends who go to enrichment on Wednesday's, we will be heading to the Walk-a-Thon at the High School to join in the fun!
Just a reminder that the week after next week is our Post Family Farms field trip (Monday Sept. 30 and Tuesday Oct. 1) AND Grandparents Day (Thursday Oct. 3)! If you have any questions regarding either of those events please let me know! I would love to clear up any questions about how those days are going to work!
We have a lot going on these next couple weeks! Good thing we're in it together!
Here are some pictures from the past week:
I hope you're having a restful weekend! See you Monday/Tuesday!
Blessings,
Mrs. DeLange
