Week 6

Hey Families!

Walk-a-Thon week was a success! We had so much fun playing games and eating popsicles! Thank you to everyone who had a hand in it! Whether that was being a part of the planning, setting up games, or donating money, I truly appreciate all the time and effort you all took to give back to our school. So thank you all so so much!

We also had our first tornado drill this week (only for my Monday/Wednesday friends). It was a little scary for a few of my friends, but it was a great opportunity to talk about a new way to stay safe at school!

Next week is a BUSY week!

Please don't forget to go to POST FAMILY FARMS on Monday and Tuesday!!!!! DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL!  I will not be at school if you show up there! Also, if you still owe me money for the field trip please bring it on your day :) I can't wait to have a fun morning of exploring and donuts!
*We will be outside all morning so please dress appropriately for the weather!

Please don't forget that THURSDAY is GRANDPARENTS/FRIENDS day! We are working hard on our program and we can't wait to share it with them! For my M/W friends, keep in mind that Wednesday is an optional day and that my whole M/W class and their grandparents are welcome on Thursday! If my M/W parents could send me a quick email letting me know if their child and grandparents will be here on Thursday, so I can plan accordingly, that would be great!

From Rose Park:
We are busy planning and preparing a very special celebration for your parents on Grandparents/friends Day! Our celebration will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 9:30-11:15. More details will be forthcoming as well as official invitations! We have a bit more practice to do to polish up our program but we think this is going to be such a special time celebrating intergenerational love and God's providence!

If you are willing and able, we could use help with an array of snacks at our grandparent aide station. Your parents are going to be kept BUSY during our open house style classroom/grandchild visits. They will be jetting from classroom to classroom and may need a cup of coffee and cookie to keep up the energy. If you are willing to provide a treat, here is a Sign Up Genius to take a peek at. As always, we appreciate your support and can't wait to welcome your parents to glimpse the joy and life at Rose Park.

Here's our snap shots from the week:

It's going to be a busy week, but please don't hesitate to reach out to me and ask questions if you have any!!

Blessings,
Allison
