Week 11
Hey Families!
It was another stellar week! We had so much fun making pretend pies and following a recipe, as well as doing our first taste test. I'm sure that if any of you do any baking over the holiday season, your student would LOVE to help you!
Looking ahead, this month we are going to talk about manners, family and thanksgiving! We will talk about family the week of the 11th, and I would really appreciate it if everyone could bring in a picture of your family! We are going to do a project with it on the 13th and 14th, so if everyone could get one in by then, I would appreciate it!
Upcoming Dates:
This week Friday (the 7th) is Father's Night! It's going to be a fun night! Fliers with more details were handed out this past week, so if you didn't see it, check your students backpack! If you still can't find it, I have extras in my room!
Also, our Thanksgiving parties will be on the 26th and 27th (if it looks like there might be a snow day on the 27th, it will move to the 25th). We will have a special snack and practice our manners and talk about family and what we're thankful for! This will be a fun day, but also a low-key day. If you would like to come and join in the fun you are more than welcome too, but it is by no means required.
Here are the snapshots from our week! Full disclosure for my Tuesday/Thursday families, I forgot my phone on Tuesday, and just dropped the ball on Thursday so there are just a couple pictures of your students this week :( I'm so sorry and I promise I will get more this week!
