Week 20!
Hello Families!
This week we had a lot of fun talking about mittens this week! We made our own as well as used some to keep working on learning our shapes and to help us work on counting! This week my Wednesday friends also got to hear the middle school orchestra play for chapel! We had lots of fun listening and dancing!
Next week we talk about some arctic animals as well as hibernation!
Just in case all the snow that they predict is coming actually comes and you're stuck inside all weekend, here is a playlist of our music and movement songs! These work really well if your student is getting a little antsy but you have limited places to move inside :)

Conferences:
It's that time of year! We get to sit down and talk about how wonderful and special your students are :)
A few things you should know:
- Conferences are not required! I encourage them because I love to talk about the growth your student has made this semester, but I don't require it.
- Both parents are welcome to join of course, but finding a time that both parents can get away can be difficult, so if only one can make it, that is totally ok!
- Time slots are for 15 minutes. Normally conferences only take 10 minutes, but I like to leave some buffer room just to make sure we aren't rushed!
- If none of these times work for you, please let me know! I will do everything I can to make sure that we can find a time to talk! The times are first come, first serve so if your schedule is pretty full I do suggest picking a time slot right away!

I'm going to be honest, this is my first time ever using a SignUp Genius, so please let me know if it doesn't work! I could have quite possibly done something wrong :)
Please let me know if you have any questions at all!!
A Note From HC:
Hoops & Hoopla 2020! It’s a night of hoops, featuring the dueling staff basketball teams of ZCS and HCS, along with 56ers scrimmages and a Unified slam dunk contest. Come also for the hoopla– photos with Elsa, Anna & friends, carnival games, bounce houses, and more, on Saturday, February 1, starting at 6:15 pm at Holland Christian High School. All this family fun for a suggested donation of $5 ($20 per family). Proceeds of this game will go to help make the HCHS band & orchestra trip to Florida in April affordable for the over 90 students participating.
