Hello Families!  It's been a fun week! We had lots of fun wrapping up our study on feelings and emotions! Everyone enjoyed pajama day and watching our movie! We have really been working on having the student name the emotion they are feeling, then talking to them about why they are feeling that way and what to do with that emotion. If you think of it at home, it's a great practice to help them learn to regulate their emotions :) Next week we will start a study on animals. This study will be more student directed! On Monday and Tuesday we are going to see what kinds of animals the students are interested in and go from there! It's going to be lot's of fun seeing what they want :)  Things to Know: Seussical   Next weekend (March 6 and 7) is Holland Christian Middle School's musical Seussical! Hello Families! It's been such a fun week! We have really enjoyed talking about feeling and emotions! Your student should have come home with a fine motor feelings monster! Make sure you ask them which emotion their monster was feeling! Next week we will continue to talk about feelings and emotions. Remember Wednesday, and Thursday will be a pj/movie day!  We will be watching parts of Inside Out! Mark Your Calendars: Fun Night: Fun Night will be on March 20 this year! Make sure you clear your calendars for this, it'll be a good time :) Spring Program: Our Spring Program will be March 31! Your student will need to wear their purple Living Testimony shirts and will perform songs by themselves and with the rest of the school! Hello Families! We had a very fun week celebrating Valentine's Day! Hopefully your kids didn't eat all their candy in one sitting :) Next week we will start talking about emotions and feelings! We are going to start with what the students know, and then expand on their knowledge. We will talk about emotions next week and the week after. On February 26 and 27, we will be having another pajama day and we will be watching parts of Inside Out! I will tell the students about it next week! No School Monday! Don't forget that we don't have school on Monday! I will see my Monday/Wednesday friends on Wednesday next week :) Enrichment Snow Clothes Enrichment parents, please remember to bring snow clothes every time your child is in enrichment!
