Hello Families!  This week we continued to talk about the leaves changing and how different shape leaves go with different trees! We loved going on nature walks this week and identifying which trees we have at school!  This coming week we will keep talking about leaves and start talking about letters and numbers!     Things to Know: Half Day Nov. 25: On November 25 we have a half day of school! There will be no enrichment and no after school care!  Food at School: There are now snacks provided by school everyday! I don't have the snack list quite yet, But I will include that when I get it! Hello Families! It was another fun week! We looked at leaves and how they are changing colors all around us! If you happen to be outside soon, feel free to look around with your students and find lots of different colored trees!  Next week we will start looking at the shapes of tree leaves and find out that different shape leaves come from different kinds of trees.   Things to Know: Monday: Just a reminder that I will be gone on Monday! Mrs. Grassmid will be teaching our class :) She is the preschool director for HC so she is more than qualifies to be with your students :) (She is also the3's teacher at South Side).  Happy Weekend! This week we tried lot's of new things, like white boards and water color paints! The students have been loving all the new activities and learning how to use them appropriately! They also loved trying to be good friends to each other this week :) I saw lot's of friends really try to make their fellow classmates feel happier through playing together, kind words, sharing toys, and some hugs!  This coming week we will start talking about fall! We will look at leaves changing colors and try to appreciate how pretty God made our world! We will be spending more time than usual outside this week, so please dress your students accordingly if it's supposed to be cold! Things to Know: Play Dough: We LOVE play dough in our class! This means that we use it frequently. This also means that we go through it quickly. I would love it if each family could donate play dough to our classroom!
