Week 15!

Hello Families!

Our first week of Christmas was a success! We got to learn about how our friends in the Netherlands (or the other Holland) celebrate Christmas. This is our classes contribution to the larger Christmas Around the World program that Rose Park is participating in. This coming week we will get to walk around the whole school and see what ever other class learned about and how other countries celebrate.

This week we will also talk about the Christmas story and that baby Jesus came to Earth because he loves us all so much!

Things to Know:

- Scholastics: We are putting in a very last minute Scholastics order! The due date is this coming Monday! If you would like any books for presents or stocking stuffers now's the time :) Our classroom code is: W7LZW

- Open House: In January, Rose Park is hosting another open house! If you haven't had a chance to see our classroom, or if you would like to meet some of the other teachers, this is a great opportunity for you! You will have to signup for a specific time slot due to COVID restrictions. Keep your eyes peeled for more information after Christmas!

- Christmas Fun: Our Christmas parties will be on December 14&15! If it happens to be a snow day, we will most them to 16&17. If there is no snow day, then December 16&17 will be a pajama day!

- Classroom Wish List: A few parents have asked for our classroom wish list. Here is the link:

Please do not feel obligated in any way to get our class a gift! The joy of you sharing your student with me is more than enough of a gift! :)
