 Hello Families!  This week we began to talk about Christmas! We talked about how Christmas is about Jesus' birthday and that he came to earth because he loves us so much. We also got to talk about how we celebrate Christmas here in America and how other people around the world celebrate Christmas. We talked about the Netherlands and how kids leave their shoes by the fire place at night, and when they wake up they have presents in them!  Next week Monday and Tuesday we will talk about La Posadas, which is a latino tradition celebrating Christmas! My Tuesday/Thursday friends are going to celebrate with our Maestra Rodriguez's Spanish immersion friends as they teach us about this tradition! My Monday friends will have Maestra stop in and talk about it too!  On Wednesday and Thursday we will have our class Christmas party! It will be lot's of fun and I am excited to celebrate with them.  Hello Families!  This week we had so much fun making applesauce and Christmas trees! Next week we are going to dive into Christmas!
