Week 13
Hello Families!
We had another fun week at preschool! We are LOVING playing in the snow :) We also had fun talking about all the things that we are thankful for! Next week we will talk all about thanksgiving and being thankful for all of God's gifts to us!
Things to Know:
Snow Clothes Practice at Home: My goal is to have the students mostly independent in putting on their snow clothes by the end of winter. If when you are putting them on at home, you can encourage them to do it themselves, that would be a huge help to me! By the end of winter my goal is to only zip their coat and put on their second glove/mitten.
Label Snow Clothes: Please try to make sure their is a name of a sticker somewhere on your student's snow clothes! We have lot's of gloves/mittens and snow pants that look similar and it's difficult for me to keep all 12 or 8 total snow outfits straight.
Gloves: If you can, please try to send your student with water proof gloves. The knit gloves are usually soaking wet by the time we come inside, and our friends hands get very cold.
Thanksgiving Break: We are on break next week Wednesday (the 23rd) and Thursday(the 24th). Enjoy your time with family and friends! If your student is here on Monday and Tuesday, I will send them home with their thankful turkey placemat! Feel free to bring it to your parties for your students to talk about what they are learning about at school!
Volunteers: Starting in January we will start having parent days! You are welcome to join our class for the day the week of your students birthday! This is not required, just something that you can do if you would like! If we have missed your students birthday because it is before January, feel free to talk to me if you would like to make it up sometime! There will be more details coming at the beginning of the new year!
