Week 11

 Hello Families!

We were all very excited for the first snow this week! We will work all winter long on being as independent as possible with our snow clothes!

Next week we will start talking about gratitude and thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for and we are going to try and think of lots of things in our lives that we can thank God for!

Announcements:

Snow Clothes: As your looking for your old snow clothes: if you've out grown anything and want to donate 3T, 4T, or XS things, we'd love to have them at school! We love having extras around in case someone forgets things!

Snow Clothes Practice: We aim to have your students mostly independent when it comes to putting our snow clothes on! If you want to help them practice at home we put our clothes on in this order: Snow Pants, Boots, Coat, Hat, Gloves/Mittens. We don't expect students to be able to zip their own coats or put on their second mitten by themselves. We do hope they are able to put on all the rest of the things themselves!

Request: We are almost out of sandwich size bags in our classroom! If you have some extra boxes laying around we would love to have them!

From Rose Park:

Safety: Now that our morning commutes are darker this season, and since we so value the safety of our student pedestrians and cyclists in the morning, can we please ask a favor? We ask that student cyclists wear reflective clothing, and even have a light on their bikes. In addition, student and adult pedestrians please take extra care when crossing streets and parking lots, especially when in close proximity to our buses. Our bus drivers and drop-offs definitely want to remain accident-free!
