Week 30

 Hello Families!

We had such a fun week back after Spring Break! It is so nice to be all together again and to have some nice weather! We talked about our Spring Breaks, and drew pictures of what we did on break! We also got to see our buddies do chapel today!

Next week we will start talking about spring and the weather that happens in the spring. We will be going outside for all types of weather over the next few weeks. So if it's raining, send your students with boots, because we will likely be going out for a little bit to experience rain and mud!

Things to Know:

Wednesday (the 17th): We will be taking a school bus to the High School for an All-District Easter Celebration from 9-9:30.

From Rose Park:

- Rose Park (rescheduled) Family Festival will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 5:30-7:00. We would love your help! Please take a peek at these game stations if you’re able and willing to join in the fun by volunteering!

- BOOK FAIR COMING SOON! Dear Parents and Families:Get ready! New books to encourage your student's love for reading are coming! Here's what you need to know about our upcoming Book Fair:  Fair Dates: April 24-26 from 11 am - 4 p.m. at the Intersection in Rose Park

  • Every dollar you spend will benefit our school library directly! This is our only fundraiser to add new books to the library. Last year our library gained 300 new books because of this fundraiser!

  • You can sign up for Book Fair eWallet—a convenient digital payment account, so your child can shop the Fair cash-free. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute to the eWallet to help build your home library. To sign up, link to the Book Fair Homepage and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Tulip Time: We are excited to offer the opportunity for our preschoolers to participate in the annual Tulip Time Parade. We will be offering spots on our Holland Christian float Thursday, May 9! This is a fantastic chance for your child to be part of a beloved community tradition and create lasting memories.
If you and your child would like to participate, please sign up using THIS form. We are asking that the preschoolers have an adult with them and that both wear a Dutch Costume.
If you have questions, please reach out to Laura Rotman at lrotman@hollandchristian.org. We look forward to celebrating Tulip Time with you and your child!
