Week 15
Hello Families!
I hope you all enjoyed your second snow day and stayed warm yesterday! We have been enjoying talking about the Christmas Story at school and who each of the characters are in it. We also have been working on lots of fine motor skills like cutting, threading, ripping, and using tweezers.
Next week we will be focusing on Christmas! We will be having a fun celebration day next week Thursday, so feel free to send your student in any Christmas clothes they may have!
Things to Know:
- Christmas Break: Christmas Break is December 23-January 3! Our first day back will be January 6!
- Emails from Me: Next week I will be sending out a couple emails with information regarding my upcoming maternity leave and how the month of January will look. Please keep an eye out for these, and reach out with any questions you may have!
- Snow Clothes: Now that winter is here, please make sure to label your child's snow clothes. We have lots of similar looking mittens and hats and it can get tricky to send students home with the correct gear.
From Rose Park:
- Carpool reminder: Please remember that when the carpool cars are exiting they have the right of way. In order to keep the carpool lane moving efficiently please do not let the parking lot cars merge into the exiting traffic. If you are in the parking lot please wait patiently once the carpool lane has begun moving. Thank you for your assistance with this, especially as the weather changes!
