Week 4

 Hello Families! 

This week we started working on letters! Specifically on the first letter of our names. We also learned about how God created everything in the world!

Next week we will continue the creation story in talking about what God created on each day. We will also continue to work on our letters! 


Things to Know: 

Post Family Farm forms are due Monday! Please try to get the forms and the payment in if you haven't already. Also, just to clarify, you will bring your student to Post Family Farms in the morning. We will all meet there at 8:50 on Monday the 22nd. 

Grandparents Day Flyers: If you want to give a physical copy of our grandparents day flyer to your students grandparents, I have extra copies on the table outside of my room! Grab as many as you need! 


From Rose Park:

  • SHHH don’t tell your kids - parents if you happen to have any inflatable suits (something like this) and you would be willing to let the Rose Park Staff borrow them towards the end of October would you let Ms. Roskamp know and plan to drop it off in the RP office anytime between now and October 17? 

  • Rose Park Fall Fest is coming up on September 25 from 5:30-7pm. This is an incredibly fun community event, Please sign your family up here! 

  • Grandparents Day is coming up on October 2, we would love to bless our Grandparents with some treats, if you are able would you sign up to provide something HERE.

  • Upcoming Dates:

  • September 24: Walkathon 

  • September 25: Fall Fest 5:30-7pm

  • September 26: Homecoming at HS Football Game!

  • October 2: Grandparents Day

 Hello Families!  We made it through our first week of school! We had SO much fun getting to know your students and teaching them some of our routines! In these next couple of weeks I am sure some of our friends will still feel some big emotions as they get used to the routine of coming to school. This is totally normal and we will keep giving lots of hugs and lots of encouragement!  Next week we will keep learning our school routines, and we will take our first field trip! On Wednesday we will get on a bus and head to the High School for our all School convocation.  Hello Families!  Time is flying! We had lots of fun this week doing some cool experiments like color mixing! We will continue to enjoy our last few days together as we have lots of fun at all our events coming up!  Monday (the 26th): OFF for Memorial Day !  Wednesday (the 28th): Normal Day of Class Thursday (the 29th): Preschool Park Playdate! We will be hopping on a bus at 9 and heading over to Windstrom Park! You are welcome to meet us there and hang out! We will head back to school around 10:15. I am still looking for someone to bring popsicles for our class! Let me know if you'd be willing to bring some for us, either in the morning at drop off or to the park!  Monday (the 2nd): Our Preschool Brunch!  Hello Families!  This week we talked about some spring-time things and made the best of our rainy day by reading Cloudy With A Chance of Meatball and talking about what foods we want it to rain!  Next week we will be talking about Tulip Time and some Dutch things like windmills and wooden shoes!  From Rose Park: Library Books:   This week was the last week for students to borrow books from the Rose Park Library.  All student library materials are due by May 9. I sent home a list of all the books that your student has checked out so you can look for them over the weekend! If you need me to reprint your list, let me know! Plant Sale: The annual fourth grade plant sale is coming to Rose Park on May 21 starting at 7:30am.  They will be selling tomatoes, peppers, and a variety of herbs.  All plants will be $3.00 per pot, cash or check only.  Mark your calendars!
